About Travis and Nancy — A unique blend of street smarts and business accumen, led by intuition.

Coming from opposite backgrounds and then switching roles before finding their own “middle”, Travis and Nancy have worked together since 1995, building Sound Wise Studios from the ground up.

Travis…
holds professional certifications from Syn-Aud-Con, Rigging, Inc, and is proficient in industry standard audio and video programs and equipment.  Born in Bellingham, raised by his aunt and living on the streets of Miami at 15, Travis has a unique appreciation for honoring the human side of life.  His introduction to audio was as sound-guy/bassist for an original funk band he formed at age 20.  (Music is still a passion.)

Nancy…
originally enjoyed a career as a commercial agricultural banker, utilizing the experience of being raised on a dairy farm.  She continues to work in community and economic development under her contracting firm, NGJ Associates, while sharing her time producing, writing and editing as a filmmaker.  To fill part of her spare time, Nancy is a member of a local screenwriting group and is a volunteer with several local and regional organizations.

Some other tidbits about Travis and Nancy -
• Both started playing and performing music before age 10.
• Both have some formal education: one a college degree (Go Beavs!) and the other a GED at age 16.
• Both are used to working a schedule that varies each 24-hour period.
• Both come from a simple life that provided more education than is available from any school.
• Both LOVE what they’re doing – and get to do it together.

Of course, formal resumes are available if you’d like more detail.
